The rooms at Hotel Tio Pepe were great! They were spacious and cozy, perfect for our group of friends.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the interior-facing room. I prefer rooms with a nice view.

Modern but family run, we thought it was a great place for a night on the way south from the Pyrennes. The attached restaurant was also a great experience. Felt like we were eating genuine cooking. Can be a little difficult to find but persevere. Beach and major sights (castillo) are all walking distance and there is a fairly large supermarket nearby.

Continental breakfast buffet was ok. 5 minutes walk away from the beach. A lot of restaurants around. Free public parking near the hotel.
Stuff speak no english. I got a spoilt milk.

I always stay at this hotel because it has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar, an on-site restaurant, and a coffee shop. The staff even gave me a warm drink when I arrived on a cold day. Coming back for Christmas!

The location was very good right in the middle of it all. The staff was average. We felt as if we were intruding on their routine by simply being there. Let's just say we felt odd being there and we were only there one night.
We were only given one door/room card which was a problem as I wanted to go out at night to take pictures and my wife wanted to read. The problem was that the main hotel door was locked and you needed the card key to get back in but without the card in the room you had no power. This is when we figured out that two business cards would serve the same purpose in the room's power slot. I know it sounds dodgy but there's no actual power going through there. It's just a simple low voltage relay switch.

The hotel had an excellent location, friendly and efficient staff and a very comfortable room. We will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends. Graham & Jenny Townend, La Marina, Alicante, Spain.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach. There's a restaurant downstairs, but it's also close to lots of waterfront restaurants and bars.
The air conditioning is centrally controlled. Parking is quite a walk and you have to pay.

With innovative touches to satisfy the most demanding palates, the Mediterranean cuisine at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful surprise. The dishes were like a symphony of flavors, using products directly from the fish market that were so fresh, they practically swam onto my plate. It was a culinary experience that left me craving for more.
Allergic reactions to room deodorizer.

Innovative touches in their Mediterranean cuisine: It was like being on a culinary adventure with each dish. The flavors were so unique and delightful that I felt like I was exploring a whole new world of taste sensations. It was definitely a symphony of flavors in each bite.
Limited options during winter: Sadly, some places were closed during our visit. It's not the hotel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind if you're planning a winter trip to Peniscola.

I had a mind-blowing experience at this place! The room may be small, but they upgraded us for free when they saw we had a teenager with us. Everything is super new since the recent refurbishment, and the rooms were jaw-droppingly clean. Although there's no indoor lobby, the sidewalk seating area is a nice touch. The restaurant is one of the best in town, and the full-board option included three delicious meals. But what really blew me away were the owners - they treated us like family! Even though they speak very little English, our basic Spanish was enough to communicate. The location was ideal, close to the beach, restaurants, and a supermarket. The hotel was quiet, tidy, and we could easily park outside. The staff were all helpful, and the value for money was unbeatable considering the touristic location. They even changed our room to a more spacious one to accommodate our little kid. If we return to the city, we'll definitely choose this place again.
